Osteopathy

Osteopathy

Osteopathy is an established system of clinical diagnosis and manual treatment, which examines the whole of the person, not just the symptoms, to find the cause of the problem.

Our osteopaths will make a detailed first assessment with a case history and examination, provide a working diagnosis, treatment, and may prescribe supportive exercises or rehabilitation advice. We aim to educate and empower you to be a part of your body’s solution, and not just reliant on treatment as a band-aid.

Osteopathy is a registered health profession. We are ACC treatment providers, and work with a number of health insurers.

Cranial Osteopathy

Cranial Osteopathy is a gentle, non-invasive Osteopathic approach for the whole body.

Our cranial Osteopaths have had extensive further postgraduate training in this skill. They use a finely tuned sense of touch to feel specific motion in the head, spine, muscles, joints, connective tissue, nervous system and fluid layers of the body.

Disturbed patterns of internal movement and imbalance affect the state of health. The cranial osteopath can work with the body to unwind these often old and deep patterns of strain. The result is to re-establish ease through the musculo-skeletal, nervous, immune, and circulatory systems.

Cranial Osteopathy is suitable for all ages from the Infant to the Elderly
